We continue to build resilience

My lovely Daughter Avery Eyram Awadzi is now 12 years old and thriving, her journey has taught us resilience. In our effort to support her to live and thrive I found myself, I discovered that I have a voice that could create a positive change in the world. I discovered Advocacy and advocacy has been a great tool to create the change we are looking for even in the tiniest of steps.

I am a mother of a child with cerebral palsy and now I tell people that mothering this child with cerebral palsy has changed and continues to change my life in the most positive way ever.

I give out empathy, I demonstrate love and I am not judgmental. In my country Ghana, we still have a long way to go in terms of Inclusion for persons living with cerebral palsy and their families but we continue to build resilience.

We take one step at a time, trusting, all the time that the Universe know the way
Cerebral Palsy affects us all in very different way and that is why we are all unique and united
