My story with cerebral palsy

Hello, good morning, afternoon, or evening to whoever is reading this, depending on the time in your country. My name is Milagros. I am 30 years old, I live in Argentina, and I was born here. I have cerebral palsy because I was born prematurely at five months gestation.

I am currently looking for work. I graduated last year as a national radio announcer, something I had longed for since I was born. But I also like other things like anime, especially Digimon, video games, and music. I like to sing, although I don’t think I sing very well, but you’ll see.

What else? I live with my family, my mom and dad. I don’t have any siblings because I am an only child. I would have liked to have siblings now that I look back, and I would have liked to have siblings to share different things with, not be alone as an only child because it’s very hard being an only child, in my opinion, because you don’t have anyone to share your toys with or to tease affectionately. My type of cerebral palsy is spastic quadriparesis; I can move my arms and legs, but it also affected my balance. Greetings to everyone from Argentina, and have a very happy Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day!
