As the Communications and Engagement Specialist at Cerebral Palsy Alberta, my mission has always been clear: to amplify the voices of individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities by creating platforms where their stories can be heard, valued, and celebrated.
Together with my colleague Carlos, the Community Education Coordinator at CP Alberta, we envisioned a space where lived experiences could inspire, educate, and connect. Carlos, who has been a passionate advocate for disability awareness for over eight years, shares his own journey with cerebral palsy to break down barriers and foster understanding. His mantra—to live a life without limits—resonates deeply with our community and became the heartbeat of our initiative.
That vision led us to create the My Life Without Limits podcast. What began as a simple idea quickly evolved into a powerful journey of discovery. Through each episode, Carlos and I explore what it truly means to live without limits—across different abilities, backgrounds, and perspectives. We’ve had the privilege of speaking with individuals who challenge stereotypes, redefine independence, and inspire change.
This podcast is more than just a project; it’s a movement. It’s a testament to the strength, resilience, and diversity of the cerebral palsy community. And for me, it’s a reflection of my commitment as a proud ally—to continue amplifying voices, sharing stories, and fostering meaningful engagement.
